Story Ideas

In past years I haven't put much thought into planning ahead, although a couple of times I was inspired ahead of time.  I tried to do a memoir (the one I got the most words  on, 18,000), I wrote a fantasy story, and on one occasion I planned to write erotica but didn't get more than a couple of days into it before giving up.  This year I'm not feeling particularly inspired to write anything, although the thought of writing a book for my 5-year-old granddaughter and then getting a copy printed for her makes me really happy and I know that's something I'll do soon.  I don't think that's a good fit for NaNoWriMo, so my other two ideas are:

• a story about a woman who stays with her husband after he goes through an extended depression
• erotica

At this point I'm going to plan out both of them and see if one grabs my attention more than the other.
